Janice is a life-long Vancouver Island resident and has been a licensed REALTOR® in Nanaimo since 2004. Prior to working in the real estate field, she was a paralegal for ten years. Her legal background has been invaluable as her understanding of the law enables her to draft excellent contracts, but what really makes her a great agent is that she focuses on educating her clients so they are better equipped to make informed decisions. Her clients will tell you she is quick to respond to all of their questions, is unfailingly honest and her priority is to find you the right home, not just sell you a house. When she isn’t working with clients, Janice is dedicated to furthering REALTOR® professionalism by way of her involvement with organized real estate at the local, provincial and national levels. Janice is a past chair of the British Columbia Real Estate Association, past president of the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board and was Vancouver Island Real Estate Board’s Realtor of the Year in 2021. In 2024, she was also bestowed the rare honor of becoming an Honorary Member of the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board and was appointed to the Governance Committee of the Canadian Real Estate Association. Janice is a dedicated member of her local Rotary club and, in her leisure time, she competes in amateur 8-Ball at the national level and enjoys curling at the Nanaimo Curling Club.
